Gabe is a fifth-generation resident of Bethel, Maine. Gabe was a founding board member of Inland Woods + Trails, and since 2014 has served as Executive Director. He holds a degree in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of Maine at Farmington. He is a senior fellow in the Environment Leadership Program, and the Community Practitioners Network. He serves as co-coordinator of the Maine Trails Coalition and lives on Mason St. in Bethel with his wife, Jessie.

Sarah found her love of the outdoors early in life, and continues that today as manager of Bethel Village Trails and events director for Inland Woods + Trails. She was a competitive Nordic skier and soccer player in college, coached high school ski teams, and then spent seven years as a trail designer and builder. Sarah organizes events both small and large, including volunteer days on the trail and the Mahoosuc Ridge to The River Challenge. Sarah is happiest on a trail, skis, or bike.

Jake is a lifelong Mainer originally from North Berwick, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism with a Minor degree in Outdoor Education from the University of Maine, Orono. As Trail Steward, Jake is responsible for the creation, design, management and general stewardship of all IW+T trails. Jake is an avid outdoor recreationist, spending his free time hiking, backpacking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and nordic and alpine skiing.
